"I have not come this far to die now" L4D2 trailer packs a punch
Loved the first Left 4 Dead, this looks like more of the same with added bad-ass. Bring it on.

This groom's cake for Star Wars artist Chris Trevas mimics the iconic scene from The Empire Strikes Back including freezing Luke and life-saving guts. Han Solo: "And I thought they smelled bad...on the outside." Maybe, but it sure is delicious. Love it.
How adorably inappropriate.
Loving this, by the wonderful (and multi-styled) Dresden Codak. "Reverse robot reveal" is probably my favourite. I want this, poster-sized.
100% not Photoshopped. You want proof? Those breasts are way too large.
Pretty sure every single designer on the planet would kill to receive a brief like that. "Here's everything, we trust you. How much money do you need?" Do love the way Mick Jagger comes across.

This is interesting: a radical new look at how our operating systems could work in the future (as long as you have most of your fingers). The presentation video provides a very elaborate explanation of how it works and why it's better than current systems.
There are quite a few issues which aren't covered, like file management (dragging, binning, etc...) and the fact that positioning windows both vertically and horizontally on your desktop is actually part of of many people's workflow but overall one of the more viable ways to look at multitouch computing.
Most importantly, it makes you rethink some key things about UI and human interfacing which is a very good thing. Great piece of work.
Watch this and if you don't even feel mildly conflicted about being entertained you're like those people in the little picture-in-picture frame on the bottom right. It's a bit like Scare Tactics but, I would say, a little bit rougher. You've got to love the name though: Panic Face King.
